I am using flickr’s images with Creative Commons license when composing my blog posts. I started using flickr images after reading  A Complete Guide to Finding and Using Incredible Flickr Images. In this post I am sharing my favorite images that might work for you too. Each image is placed next to the corresponding post – do you feel the emotional connection between the topic and the image?

An image is certainly worth a thousand words. An image paired with the right headline and content is a gold mine. Excellent pairing above. Makes me want to read each story.

The photos and the titles are very powerful. I usually find my photo last and want it to grab the title and content.

I also agree that your choice of photos have really been good.

I vary how I pick my images. I have a cash of articles ready to be posted. Sometimes when I go to post I find an image that fits my subject but not my title so I change the title to match.

    Sheila,
That is interesting technique too. So actually images you pick influence the title.
