    Mr. Practice This, your didactic video is inspiring. It served as the tipping point to sell me on the idea. (Cool tune, too!)

    Vered,
    Tried it? Was it helpful?

    Jimmy,
    May be i should go for marketing and leave this engineering stuff behind? LOL!…nuh….

    No! I’m too lazy to try stuff that would SAVE ME TIME in the long run.

    :(

    I tried to install it but there is no way to show it in the insert menu. Maybe you have some localization restriction to only work in english instalations of WLW?

    mazzorca,
    - What windows do you use? – XP/Vista?
    - What architecture? – 32/64 bit? – if you do not know this one just check if you have “c:\Program Files (x86)” folder. If you do have such folder it is 64 bit.
    - Send me exact path you put PracticeThis.dll.
    - What WLW version do you use? while inside WLW go to Help menue -> About Windows Live Writer.
    - Was WLW open when you were putting PracticeThis.dll on your file system? – WLW should be closed.

    we will solve it, no worries.

    Hi Alik.
    Vista home premium 32bits spanish
    path is C:\Archivos de programa\windows live\Writer\Plugins
    Version Windows Live Writer version 2008 (12.0.1370.325)es (spanish too)
    WLW was closed when I copyed the DLL to the folder.
    I also Installed other extras to WLW after to test if that could get recogniced. And every extra installed from .msi files created a dll in the plugin folder and get recogniced by WLW but yours still not. Thank you very much

    I downloaded and installed the Live Writer Template plugin, and it works. I would like to extend it’s functionality by creating multiple templates because I have eight different types of post I write. I have the templates in WordPress, but would really like to have all them ready to go in Live Writer. Any suggestions?

    Andrea,
    Great to hear it was helpful for you!
    Here is how you create and use new templates as described here:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/alikl/archive/2008/07/16/wlw-plugin-for-blog-post-templates-new-version-including-full-source-code.aspx

    Customizing And Using Your Template

    * Create your template using WLW, just like you’d create your blog post – nothing special about that.
    * Switch to source tab.
    * Grab the contents, paste it into Notepad and save it on your file system.
    * Done.
    * Use it with the plugin by pressing on Browse button and picking it from “Open” dialog.

    Was it helpful?
