Work 40 hours a week, the rest is life. This is my personal system for getting results at work. The main question here is – how do I make sure I produce high impact results without breaking this boundary?
I took principles outlined in J.D. Meier’s book – Getting Results the Agile Way – as a baseline (full disclosure – I was reviewing the book’s drafts).
The keys to my system are:

Customer’s situation
I was contacted by a customer, returning customer, who complained about his problem not being solved although it has been escalated to high priority. After few quick questions I realized the criticality of the problem for a customer and the reason it is not solved yet. The customer needed to go live next day. The reason it was not solved was the communication disconnect, the case was handled remotely. I took the case and went onsite.

I kept my promise and got my daughter Windows Phone 7 HTC HD7 device. The next question was – “How do I install games?”
It took me quite some time to realize how to do so.
Here is the sequence:
First I needed to logon on the web to http://xbox.com using my hotmail account. The same account I used to configure hotmail on the phone. This is key step. Failure to complete it prevent you from downloading anything. I burnt few hours just to realize it..
