HTML should be readily translatable to book form. I remember learning LaTeX in grad school. It’s interesting to see how XHTML is a step in that direction. I’m so out of date with what’s going in in web standards. I could easily imagine a unix command like blog2pdf command

Four questions:
1. Can the PDF file be manipulated so that each blog post begins at the top of a separate page?
2. Can certain posts be excluded?
3. Can you edit the PDF file (in case you want to add more to each post than what was originally in the post that was published)
4. Can a cover page be added?

All answers - YES. It only requires more manual work.
My current process is as follows:
1. Suck up the feed.
2. Move the posts to the designated folder.
3. Press the “Magic” button that generates Word 2007 doc. Here you can do whatever you could do w/Word
4. While in Word 2007 save the doc as PDF.
All steps can be scripted making it fully automated.
So currently the process is half automatic and half manual. I am testing it.
