You’ve created your life architecture and design. You have a dream to fulfill for each life project. What’s next?
Allocate time (T-i-m-e) and manage it.

by laffy4k
I use Outlook 2007 Calendar to manage my time for each life project. It holds not only work meetings but all my life activities.
After defining the life projects as Outlook 2007 categories I block time in the Calendar proactively. I monitor it through my time control dashboard based on Vista Sidebar. For each time slot I peacefully process relevant pipeline items tagged with similar category. Fast-to-done.
Step-by-step recap
Following are the steps for implementing the time management system.
- Dream
- Define Your Life projects - Design And Implementation
- Block time proactively for each project
- Create action items pipelines for each life project
- Fill the pipelines with the action items
- Control context switching between the life projects
- Process items fast
- Iterate

Wow. I never thought about it this way. I go about my days just… doing stuff. I never tried to see the big picture, yet I consider myself a relatively content person (I whine a lot, but deep down, I love my life).
I guess my own life projects are:
Raising my kids
Me (which includes mind/ body)
Relationships
Finance
FUN (mostly travel)
Career
How do I manage time for each? I don’t know. It just happens naturally, and I am quite satisfied with how it all works out.
Hi Alik. The best advice I heard about time management is that you can’t manage time. It marches on at a constant rate. You can only manage yourself
Vered,
Imagine if you were doing stuff in focused way with clear goals in front of you, even w/kids and family…
How do you know you make progress today?
blogrdoc,
I am completely w/you!
That is exactly what i tried to express with the second part of the title. The first part is not for you, it is for Google… SEO must be respected
