Two kinds of problems I'm still not getting around
1. Traffic jams
2. Very slow computers
With traffic jams I think the best something to do is listen to a very calm music such as "Sounds from the World" or Shanti Music.
Do not answer (unless it is your wife…) at least half an hour.
Thanks , Bye

I was involved in serious car accident. Just because I used my cell phone. I really try hard to refrain to do it while driving. That is why I called my post “Traffic jams and productivity” vs. “Driving and making phone calls” :). I must admit I failed to clearly emphasize it. I’ll add it to the beginning of the post now

Thanks for pointing it out!

I've been in enough 'near misses' to convince me that it's just not worth it to be on the phone while behind the wheel. I do see your point, though. My solutions to that are:
1. listen to an enjoyable book on tape or podcast
2. listen to music or the radio (NPR, news, whatever)
3. Do some mental planning on what I'm going to do with the time I have left for the day.
